I think I love puzzles as much as I love books! We are officially on winter break, so I‘m taking a break from reading to start our Christmas puzzle. I have always loved ravensburger puzzles which I used to buy at Barnes and noble, but it‘s a German brand so Italy sells them everywhere and for 1/2 the cost of the states. I‘m stocking up! #jigsawpuzzles

Hollie So, I‘m half asleep, waiting on the coffee to brew and only ready part of your puzzle. I‘m currently reading Lilac Girls so my groggy brain read it as Ravensbruck. I thought, what?! Who makes concentration camp puzzles. Time to hit the coffee cup for me. 7y

The subject of PUZZLES came up recently with @Alicia and @Kaye so I felt compelled to share the last puzzle my sister and I did. With Ava the Cat's help of course. When you fly all the way to Germany to see a sibling and still spend most of the time puzzling, you know you both have the same priorities 😂

Kaye How long do you think those 2000 piece ones take to complete ? It‘d probably be hard to guess since you wouldn‘t be sitting there nonstop working on it. Now you are tempting me to go get one tomorrow to try it. I‘d honestly have to start with a 300 piece and try to get better at them. I think anything bigger would be too hard to start. 7y

SkeletonKey @Kaye - Gosh, yeah I couldn't guess since we were in and out so much over the course of two weeks or so... I should time it one day. They do get frustrating but we are really good at persevering. Also easier with 2+ people since they will see things you missed! 7y

Kaye Yea I used to try them a long time ago. I could sit and stare for an hour. My husband would just be walking past, reach down and put a piece in. He is really good at them. Maybe I‘ll go get a small one tomorrow to start. I cannot imagine how much space you‘d need for that whopper at Amazon. 7y
