The worst part about home renovations = packing up your stuff. The best part about home renovations = I GET TO TOUCH ALL OF MY PRECIOUSES! This holds the signed copies, favorites, and friends' books. (How long do y'all think I'll last before I sit down and start reading? 😂)

Brilliant film! One of the main actors, Gary Poulter, played the role of an abusive alcoholic father. This was his one and only acting role - In real life he was a homeless man in Texas and he was found dead by a homeless campsite before the film came out.
I became really invested in the individual plights of each character.
Highly recommend this one - and now to read the novel!
