August Breakdown
#friYAYintro @jess.how
1. Probably Living With The Dead. Read mostly manga/comics this month
2. Of course. Plus, I work in a hotel so sometimes have to make other people's beds too 😧
3. Typical Scottish Summer - 16c and raining 🌧
4. Oooooo 🤔🤔 pirates!
5. Hi Littens of the world 👋👋😄
People say this is the least favourite book of the series, but I loved it!! Was gripped right away and loved how all the characters put the pieces together in different ways. Plus I think I'm now in love with Hope & Karl 🖤🖤
Enjoying a chill out afternoon in the hotel bar. Wine + book = holiday happiness 😁🖤🍷
Worst thing about packing for a holiday? Trying to decide which book to take!! Thinking "Living With The Dead" ?
But it‘s easier to tell yourself the world is a good, civilized place, filled with good, civilized
people, because that‘s what you need to believe to keep going. And it works just fine until the
day the ugliness seeps to the surface and sucks your life into the cesspool. -Robyn Peltier (Living With the Dead - Kelley Armstrong)
This was such a let down. I was looking forward to more Hope and Karl, but this storyline kinda fell flat for me.
Calbee shrimp chips and a current #palatecleanser - book 9 of Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series. Always fun to read although this one seems a bit different with a non-supernatural lead and multiple POVs. Also why no cover for the ebook??
