I learned so much about autism. I thought it was well done.

Great YA novel! Narrated by Grace, a 16 year old on the spectrum, it captures her world in an honest but beautiful way. Author Lucas and her child are both on the spectrum as well
Oh what‘s this 12intwo hash tag looks like reading tracker how do I get that
Now this looks like going to be a interesting read. It‘s about a child with Aspergers. Similar to autism like myself and my oldest son have. This will be interesting read anyone else read it ??? It‘s s kids book but I like lot young adult books as they simple enough to read.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed The State of Grace. I read it quite quick but I enjoyed every single minute of it. This is the first novel I have read in which the main character is on the autistic spectrum. And it was bloody interesting 😁 characters are lovable and i loved reading about them all.
"You don't look autistic."
"And you don't look ignorant -- and yet here we are."
This was a really quick read, and it held my attention well. It's ownvoices with an autistic main character, Grace, who is 15. It's sort of a coming of age story, following all the changes, politics and drama that come with being that age. It's a really worthwhile read, I gave it 4/5 stars.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Just got the chance to pick this up today and it is SO GOOD so far.
