I was just sent a sample illustration of my very first children's book - to be published in Iran, of all places, and not in English, too, as part of 'The World Is My Home' project. Hehehe. This is precisely as it should be. I am definitely stoked and I absolutely adore the art. The title of my very first picturebook is “Tala” which translates to Star in Tagalog.
This is our book pick of the month for Nobelistas. I am very picky with poetry and I rarely read books of this genre. However, I think it would be very interesting to learn more about Gabriela Mistral, the first Spanish speaker to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature.
