So, I‘m re-reading Sandman comics and I never noticed before that one of the background characters is reading Stephen King‘s, ‘It‘!
And now I‘m noticing that in the bottom right circle, “Stephen” has become “[St]even”! Was I the last to know?

pickThis version of the Sandman is fantastic! I always loved the original b&w format. Neil Gaiman gives a written note explaining or pointing out a hidden gem in each panel. This page has John Constantine complaining about his ex taking his Silver Surfer comics when she left. I love this! THANK YOU @TricksyTails !! You are awesome!! 😀

I frickin flipped out when I saw this book, and I'll admit I almost got choked up when I read the note inside. I love this! Thank you so very much! bailedDNF. This was a total miss for me. I didn't care for the storyline, the characters, the artwork, or even the notes along the side. I got to Volume 6 and had to bail. Such a bummer!!
#tbt close to a year ago I adopted a pair of kittens... and they quickly took to my books. The above pic is the first instance of one of them sitting on the book I'm trying to read. 😸 And for Sandman fans: the annotated editions are pretty cool. I'm glad my library had them! #kittenlitten
These comics are filled with interesting art, and reading all the annotations makes it even better. Neil Gaiman is such a fantastic writer, and being able to see the notes he made while writing this series is incredible.
I read a lot of the comics on my phone, but I'm really excited for the annotated versions ♥️
