The only one I‘ve read was The Night Circus, but I did enjoy it. #circus #augustisatrip

Workman Publishing knows how to party! We celebrated three colleagues who have been at the company for 25 years by having a circus come to our office. Besides the stilt walker and a juggler 🤹♂️ we had cotton candy, popcorn 🍿, ice cream sandwiches, animal crackers, and Cracker Jack! Plus some tricycle races in clown 🤡 costumes 😂.
⭐️⭐️⭐️I enjoyed reading this book! I could put it down easily but was always happy to pick it back up. It was Willow/Frog that had me enjoying this book more than others who have reviewed it. I have a soft spot in my heart for well written characters who aren't afraid to follow their dreams regardless of hardships on the way & an even softer spot for characters who aren't afraid to admit when they were wrong. Willow was both. Fun, slow read!
Willow is a privileged seventeen year old who habitually runs away. At the start of the book she runs away on her fathers wedding day to go in search of her mother whom she's told is a circus performer. This was....ok. I could leave it for a couple of days without picking it up but I did like it better after I had finished it.
Amazing book box curated by Litcube! I can't wait to read this one 😍
Day 10 of the #RiotGrams challenge: books in the wild! Here in Maine, the beautiful wild is right outside the back door. It's nice to know it's there while I sit inside and read. 😝🌲📚
3/5
It's not the best book I've ever read, but it was interesting. Circus is about a teenage girl on the run from her life. Willow has never known her mom, only a story about her being in the circus. She hates her soon to be stepmother, so much that it triggers her to act out on the day of their wedding and runs away to join the circus to be like her mom. Running away wasn't as easy as Willow thought it would be.
Picking this up again. It fell to the side last month but now I am ready 📚
LOVED her first book and decided I needed this one while I travel
