I have to admit that I‘m having trouble jumping into this novel. We‘re going to shelve it for the time being and come back to it at a later date!

Another great story for dog lovers. Adam March is back, along with his pit bull Chance. They meet Skye, the owner of a motel dealing with teenager issues with her daughter. Susan Wilson delivers stories of humans dealing with serious emotional traumas, and dogs who help them heal. Parenting through trauma, grief, second chances and redemption are all themes here, told from various points of view. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
First book for #jubilantjuly done!
I‘ve been distracted today by TikTok, which I downloaded last night so I can stay on top of what my kids are doing on social media. I‘m putting the phone down, sitting in my favorite reading spot with an iced coffee, and saying “Buh-bye” to distractions. It‘s warm, but there‘s a bit of a breeze right now making my porch quite comfy. ❤️📚🙂
Exhausted this evening. Reading in bed with my constant companions until my eyes close. ❤️📚🐶😴 #dogsoflitsy #poodlesoflitsy #puppymillsurvivor
Reading 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐠𝐬 inside this afternoon because there‘s a storm brewing. My two reading buddies and constant companions in their assigned spots - one at my feet and one behind my head. 😂❤️🐶📚
NOW, this one is up next. I was going to start it two weeks ago, but then realized there was a book that came before this one called One Good Dog. I really enjoyed that one! Then I had a book club book to read, so I‘m finally getting to this one that‘s been on my shelf for a couple of years. ❤️📚🐶
I read another of Susan Wilson‘s books, The Dog Who Saved Me, and loved it. This one has been on my shelf waiting for the right moment. 🙂❤️📚🐶
Up next for #24in48. My first read was Because of Winn-Dixie, so it looks like I‘m on a quest to read about canines this weekend... just don‘t tell my cats! 🐶 ❤️
Not book related but I‘d like to share the dog bed my mom got Koda our sweet white German shepherd. Too bad Hissy our mean queen of the house, thinks it‘s hers!
Not pictured: Koda laying in front of it waiting for her to move! 😂 (we move her when we can)

Also (part 2) - I figured out the sticker problem. I hadn't updated my Litsy app because my phone storage was full of pet pictures and videos. (But look at these guys!)
This is a good read, and one that I think readers who enjoy character studies and books about dogs will really love. It does have a slower pace, but I found the pace relaxing and readable, and it didn‘t bother me. Recommended to those who love animals and taking a chance on people. *I received an eARC copy of Two Good Dogs from St. Martin‘s Press via NetGalley*
