Unfortunately, i didn‘t realize this book was part of a series until after I‘d finished it. I‘m sure that if you‘ve read the Sunshine series, you‘d enjoy this book far more than I did. The story felt like bridge between the action. The characters felt two-dimensional and there were too many plots left open-ended. I won‘t be reading any more of the series; but I hope if you choose to do, those plots have decent arcs.

Just finished up with the latest book, and it was pretty good. Flew through it pretty quickly as well.

I‘ve read all of the others in this series. I like the idea of renovating old houses and making them new, while also throwing in a little drama here and there.

I‘ve had really enjoyed this series and looked forward to each installment. This one. Hmmm. Annoying, boring, uninteresting. I‘m not sure if more are coming but me thinks this series has run its course.

I thought I was going to something else along The Nightingale which I‘m rereading, but it was set in WWII as well so I set it aside and picked this up instead.

I have really enjoyed this series. I am usually not too into the women's fiction genre, but this series is the exception. The characters are very well developed and multifaceted. It seems as if this is not the last installment..... looking forward to the next one!

Finished Wendy Wax's ONE GOOD THING today. Took me a bit to get into it as I didn't realize it was the fifth in a series. Once I caught up a bit, it was a fairly fun, soapy read.
