I absolutely love this book, it's the second time I've read it. In turns laugh out loud hilarious and in others, sad, it is the real life story of Simon Dawson & his wife Debbie moving to Exmoor from London & starting their own smallholding.
Warning: don't read if you're vegan.

It's cold and grey and raining and I've had a headache since I woke up. I want to stay snuggled up under my blanket reading but instead I have to head out in the rain to go to work 😔

With my reading of The Hobbit crawling along at a chapter a day #lotrchapteraday and The Pillars of the Earth taking me forever to read (I'm going through a slow patch) I fancied a more light hearted read today. So I started rereading Pigs in Clover, which is pretty hilarious. Just what I needed this evening!

Forgot to add this sweetie that I read at the end of the year. A riches to rags story that is about a yuppie couple that decides to buy a farm for a weekend getaway. Nonfiction, animal anecdotes, sustainability and internal reflection in Great Britain. I really liked it. #recommendsday
