A Busy Year by Leo Lionni is a great children's book. It's about two mice who learn about the seasons of the year through their tree-friend. This book would be an incredible way of introducing the seasons to young students. Here is a link of different activities a teacher can use while reading this book. http://www.startsateight.com/a-busy-year-leo-lionni/ #UCFLAE3414sp17
DrSpalding Yes, science integration! What genre? 8y
AlexandriaJ I really like how this story incorporates the seasons! Like you stated, this is a great way to introduce the topic! 8y
