#feministfriday In honor of the renaming of Calhoun College to Grace Hopper College we would like to honor Grace Hopper, the woman known as “the queen of code” and the “mother of computing.” She graduated from Yale with both a master‘s degree and a Ph.D. in mathematics. She would serve and retire from the U.S. Navy as a Rear Admiral. In 2016 she was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
