A local Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian fusion) sushi chain is offering a Scottish Box for Burns Night containing: Samba Smocked [sic] Salmon maki, Samba Fish & Crisps (a maki made with a battered fish piece), Dram sushi (the salmon is flambéed in scotch), and a salad made with salmon, red cabbage, Granny Smith apple, carrot, spring onion, lemon and olive oil.
Marketing atrocity or genius? Frankenstein food or clever pairings? Disrespectful or not?
