iread2much @Hestapleton it‘s possible that there were, but I don‘t personally find a list of references without citations to be very helpful. I want to know where he‘s getting his information and when he makes big claims about history and historical events/social movements, I don‘t want to just take his word for them. Maybe if I lived through that era it would be different 🤷🏻♀️ 3y

iread2much @bookishbitch it was! Even the Brian Kilmeade book has citations; really really really bad citations, but at least it tried. This book even uses quotes but didn‘t tell me what it was quoting from. 3y

iread2much @bookishbitch I agree. 😠 he claims that abortion is THE driving force behind conservative take overs of the legal system, which I can totally believe. However, since he provides no real context and no citations, I can‘t understand how he came to that conclusion and I don‘t know if it‘s true. 3y
