Pickpick

This is one science fiction novel that definitely leans heavy to the science side of things. It was quite dense at times with scientific explanations, and yet the main character was so relatable it retained its emotional connection.

And the ending... I don't want to ruin it, but I will say you might want to have tissues handy.

I can definitely see why this was an award winner.

#90sinJuly #AliensExist

In this book, aliens come to Earth searching for evidence to prove that God exists. This book was so good and the ending so thought-provoking. If you like sci-fi and philosophical/religious discussion, you'll enjoy this one.

Pickpick

As you can guess from the title, there is an argument throughout the book regarding the existence of God. But the argument for comes from a quarter you would not expect: aliens visiting Earth (who are more technologically advanced than us).

I found the argument to be one that resonates with me: God doesn't have to be the personal God that permeates modern Christian culture. This resonates because that is one of my hangups with the concept of God
