Shopping for a Billionaire
Shopping for a Billionaire | Julia Kent
5 posts | 7 read | 2 to read
Ever meet a hot billionaire while your hand's in a toilet in the men's room of one of his stores? No? So it really is just me. Hmm. When you're a mystery shopper, you get paid to humiliate yourself, all in the name of improving customer service. Romance isn't in my job description. But the day I met Declan McCormick it was love at first flush. Until I nearly castrated him with my EpiPen. How Hot Guy and Toilet Girl became an item involves my crazy mom, a trip to the ER, my homicidal cat, my fake wife, and true love. Don't look at me like that. I'm just doing my job. I'm shopping for a billionaire. --- The Shopping for a Billionaire collection from New York Times bestselling author Julia Kent is a 600+ page, hilarious romantic comedy with heart, heat, and laughs. This boxed set contains the previously published: Shopping for a Billionaire 1 Shopping for a Billionaire 2 Shopping for a Billionaire 3 Shopping for a Billionaire 4 Christmas Shopping for a Billionaire

Haven't done a #Two4Tuesday @TheSpineView

Thanks for the tag, @The_Penniless_Author

1) no, and I'm not sure I'd want any. But had I jumped on that bandwagon earlier 🤔🤔🤔 I have a few teeny tiny bits of gold that I panned from a river years ago, they must be worth a few cents. 🤣🤣

2) Shopping for a Billionaire series (tagged is the first book in the series) - 🤣🌶️💘

Want to play? @rockpools @ozma.of.oz @CarolynM

TheSpineView Never been panning for gold bit sounds like fun! Thanks for playing 1y
julesG @TheSpineView The area where I come from has interesting natural resources. Apart from a bit of silver and gold there's lots of uranium (luckily not the enriched/dangerous stuff). Gold panning is a tourist thing, which needs explaining and hence perfect for a summer job. 😉 Unfortunately not enough gold in the small rivers to get rich. 1y
rockpools Your tagged book sounds really fun! And panning for gold is way more exciting than Bitcoin! I must have read something amazing with a rich MC - but all I can think of right now is Pride and Prejudice, which is obviously great, but not remotely original. 1y
julesG @rockpools It was original when it was first published. And it might be the inspiration for lots of contemporary romances 1y

Pickpick

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Anyone else find it strange when a book character shares your name?

#SeriesLove2023

TheSpineView On when the character seems too much like myself. 2y
Andrew65 Yes I find it strange too. Well done 👏👏👏 2y
ShananigansReads @TheSpineView I once found a book where the character was just like me and named Shannon. Even my bestie said so. It was crazy. 2y

📚 Shopping for a Billionaire series by Julia Kent
📺 Juno (that film about the pregnant teenager, she worked at a store, didn't she?)
🎤 Material Girl by Madonna (why didn't you include this song into #MOvember @Cinfhen? )

JoScho Perfect song! 5y

This morning #JulesGsMaking roast peppers. Why anyone would do that in the oven is beyond me, I like to char the peppers on the hob.

Listening to this hilarious romcom. Easy listening material when doing chores.

TheBookHippie I do it this way too!!!! 👩🏽‍🍳🙌🏻 5y
julesG @TheBookHippie I knew I'm not the only one who loves to play with fire. 😁 5y
TheBookHippie @julesG 🤣🤣 I don‘t understand how the oven chars it 🤷🏽‍♀️must use fire 🤣🤣it tastes better for recipes. 5y

julesG @TheBookHippie Well, leave the peppers in the oven for about an hour and they'll char. But, you are right, it tastes better "flame grilled". 5y
ravenlee I‘ve only done this in the oven - but I‘ve been using a gas stove for just the last year, so before that I didn‘t have a choice. 5y
julesG @ravenlee I'm very glad that I still have a gas stove. 5y
ravenlee I‘m very happy to have one now. I really hated my last range, a glass-top electric with an oven that often burned things at low settings. Now I‘m in trouble if we have to move again and the new house doesn‘t have a gas stove! 5y
julesG I've had one of those glass-top electric stoves. I hated the waste of energy. I've been living in this flat for 15 years. Gas stove was the only option here, still is. But my landlord has plans of getting rid of the gas lines. I'll fight him, as will 13 other families in the building. Propane gas is an option, but it would mean a safety hazard (gas bottle in the flat) and I'd need to get different burner nozzles. Might be an option for you, though 5y
julesG @ravenlee Or just one gas hob fired with a propane bottle? I have one induction glass hob. I use it for anything that needs to cook/boil on low heat for ages. 5y
julesG @ravenlee oh, forgot to tag you two comments up. 5y
ravenlee If we have to move again a gas stove would be on my list of must-haves, or as an option to replace an electric if need be. We‘re likely to stay in one place for at least another two years, so I won‘t worry about it until I have to! 5y
mrp27 Yes! My aunt used to roast chili like this for salsa. 5y

#bookmail! Loved this series by Julia Kent. Based in Boston with landmarks I recognised with ease. Can't wait to meet her in a couple of months.
