I love Friday Barnes. She's smart, resourceful and fearless when it comes to solving crimes and mysteries (often to the annoyance of her peers). I adore Melanie, her ability to fall asleep in seconds and to narrate Fridays life as if it were a soap opera. And I begrudgingly admire the authors ability to write cliff hangers. Basically another great entry into the Friday Barnes series.

I went out for an avocado, came home with the newest Friday Barnes book.
This whole bookstore opposite the supermarket thing has some perks!

The supermarket had no avocados. I don't understand how this is possible, but I have Danger Ahead and I've watched the new Sherlock episode (ahhh!) so not that bothered...
