pickThis picture book reassures a child that mom‘s love is always with them in spirit. I think it‘s sweet. There are quite a few similar books like this out there. While I enjoyed it just fine, it‘s not my favorite Amy Krouse Rosenthal. I prefer some of her others even more.

This beautiful, short, simple story is a love poem from parent to child: "That bright sun? That's me beaming at you."
I also appreciate that not all of the kids are white, although the main family unit is white.
