This book fits perfectly on the shelf next to the classic The Runaway Bunny and is a gift that promises continuous love. Amy Krouse Rosenthal captures parents' desire to be ever-present in this simple and touching poem offering reassurance of their love. Signs of affection can be found in the natural world around us--from a soft breeze to a shimmering star.

This picture book reassures a child that mom‘s love is always with them in spirit. I think it‘s sweet. There are quite a few similar books like this out there. While I enjoyed it just fine, it‘s not my favorite Amy Krouse Rosenthal. I prefer some of her others even more.

#whodoyoulove This goober right here! We met working in a bookstore and he‘s always down to talk about all the books with me. Plus, he doesn‘t mind the stacks and stacks of books around our house...the tote bags are a different story 😮

I'm a big fan of Amy Krouse Rosenthal, and I love this author/illustrator pairing!

This beautiful, short, simple story is a love poem from parent to child: "That bright sun? That's me beaming at you."

I also appreciate that not all of the kids are white, although the main family unit is white.
