A couple years ago, I decided to track every mention of the superheroic resurrection trope in Marvel comics.

Then I backed the hell away from that choice because it was a BIG FRICKIN' JOB.

I still make mental notes on it, though, and X-FACTOR's got some good mutant resurrection one-liners. It also contains possibly the most tragic use of the trope when Siryn refuses to mourn her father because OF COURSE he'll be back (he won't).

X-FACTOR delights me in many ways, but I especially love it when Jamie Madrox sends one of his dupes out to take a cool and/or geeky job. (If you're not familiar with Madrox--and you should be, because he's awesome--he has the power to create copies of himself. He later reabsorbs them and learns everything they've experienced on their travels.)
