Ugh. This had potential, it really did. Unfortunately, awful dialog and ridiculously horrible romance have ruined the entire premise. The male mc is so terribly crafted, I don't see how any woman could ever fall for him.

It was a little hard to get into, especially with the eye roll worthy banter, but eventually I got into it and found myself fairly enjoying the storyline. I felt like the futuristic aspect of it all wasn't touched on as much as it could have been. Their lifestyles and items were briefly explained in minimal detail and the circumstances leading up to how their civilization became weren't even discussed.
Two days and it was done. Good sci fi thriller, if that's a genre. I'm pretty excited to read the next one in the series.
Finished this. Enjoyed it I guess... the tacky banter grew on me enough that I'll read the second one if the opportunity arises but I'm not going to seek it out.
I don't know how I feel about this "witty" banter right now but I'm only a tenth of the way thru so I'm hoping it will become more natural feeling
Picked this one for my Kindle First book for December. Looks pretty interesting.
I chose this from December's list of Kindle First books. I'm not trying to start new series but this sounded the best to me. I'm not sure I've ever read any of the books I've gotten through Kindle First but I get one every month. I'm hoping to remedy a smidge of my ebook backlog next year. 😀
