Shaskan‘s twist on this TL story makes it a must add to elementary classrooms! The wicked stepmothers side of the story will have readers second guessing the classic tale. This story would do well in a DR setting. An article from ERIC explains the benefits of DR, and the techniques that can be implemented in the classroom. https://files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/ED372435.pdf
Betrinag UDL principle 1.1, customizing the display of information, and EL strategy 16, integrating speaking activities, will tie the book and DR together. #ucflae3414sp21 4y

DrSpalding What a fun read! Yes it is a variant of traditional literature that could also be considered modern fantasy! This would make a very fun dramatic reenactment and could be used in your language arts curriculum as a mentor text for point of view. 4y
