A dark and twisty psychological thriller, perfect for fans of HER by Harriet Lane and IN A DARK DARK WOOD by Ruth Ware. Two suburban women. Two dark secrets. The almost perfect murder. Everybody needs good neighbours Melissa and Hester have lived next door to each other for years. When Melissa s daughter was younger, Hester was almost like a grandmother to her. But recently they haven t been so close. Hester has plans to change all that. It s obvious to her that despite Melissa s outwardly glamorous and successful life, she needs Hester s help. But taking help from Hester might not be such a good idea for a woman with as many secrets as Melissa "

Easy read, occupied my head for a week or so, just what I need whilst dreading the start of the new term 😞 quite predictable but interesting enough!!

I really enjoyed this book it built the suspense up all the way through and had some plot twists that kept me hooked up to the very last page. 😍 It might just make you think twice about befriending your neighbours

I am having a hard time putting into words my feelings about this book. It seemed a bit monotone. Even though here were secrets, a murder, a bad guy (women in this cast) the story had no peaks, no suspense, no tingling. All items that a mystery should have in my opinion. It didn't even inspire me to stop listening--sigh!

Another audiobook. I love plots that hinge on a character who feels a misplaced sense of belonging. It never ends well. *rubs hands*
