Ok, so who wouldn't have a #charactercrush on Archie Fox? Using today's prompt to tell you how awesome this book is--co-written by my very dear friend @AriannaRebolini (who hasn't been on Litsy for a while bc she's currently the editor of Buzzfeed Books!). This book may have been billed as a "summer read" but who cares about such rules. It's both light & fluffy AND has real substance--I love how relatable it is. Best romancy book I've ever read.

Natasha.C.Barnes #autumnreads To clarify, I don't think you could technically call it a romance novel...it's more like chick lit maybe? I don't understand categories. It's central plot is romantic but there's (spoiler?) only 1 sex scene, so what does that mean? 😆 7y

Ahh this book was so much fun. Book 5 of #vacation polished off next to my acai bowl. I adore Katie Heaney's work and her collaboration here is really good for #summerreading !
Rose Reed is an assistant at a PR firm. She sits in for a boss at an important meeting for rebranding a British rock star, and he decides he wants her to work as a publicist after she suggests a new indie star for him to publicity date. Romance isn't in the cards, or IS IT?
