So it‘s been a bit! I got super crazy busy but here is my current read, a throwback from my childhood :)

Great graphic novel for children. I would recommend reading in order as they all follow along with each other.

2nd book in this series. My students love these books. They brought me the second and wanted me to continue reading them. You have to love a book that kids love to share! Dragons rule!:)

Wings of Fire 🔥 The Lost Heir
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The lost heir is about the dragonet Tsunami who is looking for her home. This is a fiction and adventure book and is a nail biter that will keep you up all night. I love that there are no pictures so you can make up all the pictures in your head.

3⭐️——— i prefer this over the first book i thought the storyline was more emotional and better written and I remember what happened throughout the whole book. However i still find it way too gruesome for a kids book. There was less violence in this one but the detail in the few scenes was vivid for the 10 -13 year olds its meant for.

Im halfway through this and i actually like it better than the first one. Right now the only thing i have a problem with is that in the first one all the dragonets were part of the story this one they‘ve been thrown into a cave and its all about tsunami.

A pretty good follow up to the previous book. Lessons learned, friends made and enemies detected. Don't want to give too much away so I recommend this book series so far :)

I'm such a fan of the dragons in this series-the good guys and the bad guys. I love everything about the friendship among the five dragonets. I also super-love that each dragonet has observable strengths and weaknesses.

This is specifically Tsunami's story: it starts out slow but builds to be *very* exciting. Trust and family are big themes.

👉🏻 I completely see why #middlegrade readers love these books. The pacing and details are fantastic.
