Told from several points of view, this starts off slow, but eventually turns into quite a good horror/thriller with a couple of nice little twists at the end. There is a second book, so not everything is resolved in this one, but it was very readable, & I will definitely be checking out the second book. 3.5🌟

TW: If you have claustrophobia, be warned that the chapters where several characters are buried alive for a while are very graphic.

4 stars. The novel is told from multiple characters that are treated for insomnia. They are all put into a study group and have PTSD. It wasn't a scary read, but kept my interest to the end. I liked how the aspects of joining a clinical study explored ethical considerations and the dangers of it. The dream world was interesting, and their dreams were definitely creepy.

This book seemed all over the place at first, had a bit too much situational irony, and many the characters have odd names, but both the premise and the plot are great. And the twist at the end? I didn‘t see it coming, and I‘m excited to start Neverwake.

I just feel abit discombobulated after reading this 😒
I'm really not sure whether I enjoyed it or not it was just totally mad! Don't know if to continue with the series.

This is the first in a series and it ends on a cliffhanger. It was soooo good you guys. It is about a group of teenagers that sign up for an experimental cure for insomnia. During the procedure an earthquake causes a power fluctuation which traps them in their collective nightmares. Holy smokes, fast moving, suspenseful, and the audio had three narrators each chapter is from a different POV and each narrator reads one character. Loved!

#lastbookyoustacked Saw this book in a post earlier today and added it. Not much info available on it right now, but the description made it sound interesting.
