I was drawn to this because I love books done in epistolary form. This is a collection of anonymous letters from a popular Tumblr, Dear My Blank. Writing letters that never get sent can be cathartic. Overall, it took me about 30 minutes to read this. It‘s geared more towards teens and young adults and I would recommend it to them. Young love certainly can be the pits! So glad I‘m not in high school anymore. 😆

My school was giving away copies of this.

Started by a teen on Tumbler, she posted letters that she wrote but never sent + soon others were joining in. Ranging from sweet to heartbreaking the letters cover crushes, lost friends, abusive parents, etc. With colorful pages, I think it could be a good gift for a late middle/high school girl, especially if going through a hard time. Older readers will just be glad their high school days are over 😂.

Some sweet and some moving letters, but overall, it felt a little like reading the uncomfortably angsty poetry I wrote when I was 15. Post Secret for the teenage set. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it made me happy to be no longer a high schooler.

Went into this looking forward and came out thinking one thing...anything for a buck. Unsent letters are personal and meant to be unsent, hence their name. They are not meant to be posted on the World Wide Web or read by millions. Not my favorite book and definitely not looking forward towards her next one. It did get my D out of the way for the #LitsyAtoZ

readinginthedark 😕I hate being disappointed by a book like that. 8y
