Three friends, three wishesone Christmas! When three friends visit a shopping-mall Santa on a lark, the jolly old elf is full of mysterious predictions about the thing they're all wishing for: the perfect man. Or at least men who are perfect for them.Riley Erickson's fiance turned out to be a dud, dumping her for her bridesmaid three weeks before the wedding. But Santa says that she's soon going to meet her ideal man in a memorable way.And he predicts that a new man is about to come into Jo's life. What on earth does that mean? She's pregnant and already has her hands full with the perfectly stubborn husband she's got.Noel has given up completely on ever finding her perfect match. But apparently Noel is going to get a good man to go with that house she's trying desperately to buy. These friends are about to discover that Christmas wishes can come true, because in spite of romantic setbacks and derailed dreams, this truly is the most wonderful time of the year!"

December #BookSpin

Can‘t believe it‘s the final month of the year for bookspin. As usual it‘s been so fun reading down my tbr. Since December is always so busy I stuck with fluffy Christmas titles and leftover reads of the year so I can start January with a clean slate.

My tbr stack of goals for #AVeryMerryReadathon includes my bookspin pick and some buddy read picks. As usual it appears overly ambitious but I‘m already halfway thru a couple of titles as they are left over from November.

TheSpineView Looks like a great stack!❤📚📖 3y

By the time I was about a third of the way into this novel, I already knew I needed to hunt down the author‘s back list. This is my first time reading this author, and I truly enjoyed every minute. It‘s three romances rolled into one book, but more than that it‘s a wonderful story of friendship and family.

You ever start a book by a new to you author and before you‘re even halfway through you already want to read everything else that author has written? That‘s where I am right now.

This was a fun little story. Riley is only a few weeks away from her Christmas wedding when her fiance announces that he's actually in love with her bridesmaid and calls the wedding off. Meanwhile, Riley's older sister is getting ready to have her first baby. Jo's husband is in the Navy & wants to re-up even though Jon doesn't want him to. Riley's best friend, Noel, is distraught when her landlord sells Noel's house out from under her. On a lark⬇️

TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) the three women visit Santa at the mall - except this Santa seems oddly realistic in his predictions for the holiday season...

While nothing outstanding, this was a perfectly fun lil romance. Jo's story was my favorite, but that could be because I relate more to couples who have been married for a while & are making sure they stay that way haha Noel is an author of a children's book & her book character, Marvella, frequently “talked“ ⬇

TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) to Noel in her head which definitely got old for me & felt kind of odd. But overall this was a fun one even if it wasn't particularly memorable.

November was a lil crazy & I didn't do much here on Litsy, but I'm going to join @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick for the December half of #CrushtheRush !! I'm trying to choose different goals for each of the readathons I'm participating in & for this one I think the goal is going to be 25 books. Theoretically doable since I have 25 spaces on my #BookSpinBingo board, right?? 😂

marleed Theoretically :) 4y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick It's the final month of 2020... what could go wrong! 😊 Glad you're joining in on the fun! 4y
TheAromaofBooks @marleed - Exactly. Not like I have anything else going on that would distract me from reading this month! 😂 4y

It was fun and the concept was different and interesting. One character was overly whiney for me, and there was a bit too many descriptive paragraphs. But fun overall.
