Sadly, MacLeod has passed- which, in fact, might make this read even more poignant. A short story that captures not only the Christmas in Canada feeling but also the dawning awareness we have as we move from childhood to adulthood.

DebbieGrillo I love The Rankins music and remember the Christmas specials. Unfortunately, when I saw them in concert they presented as extremely pompous. 7y

I'm excited for MacLeod's book; he stole my heart in highschool and ignited my love for short storoes, but sadly I never read anything of his after that.
