Behavioral economics book and updated version of the authors‘ 2008 edition. I enjoyed the insights into how people and companies manipulate environments and therefore our choices/decisions for better or worse. There are a lot of stats in this book but the writing is not dry.

This book is an excellent follow up to Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. It reveals how susceptible we are to subtle suggestions all around us every day both good and bad. The authors also reveal how powerful defaults and environment are to our decision and more importantly our mindsets. An excellent self-improvement read that will challenge you and help you grow! Highly recommend.

Think I have to read it again but definitely some good food for thought.

From the creators of behavioural economics and the people who inspired the folks behind Freakonomics. Nudge is smart, funny and applicable to everyday life. A little American heavy, but most of us Brits have come to live with such things.

It‘s was interesting but a slow read.

The book has a lot of academic and scientific concepts, but was written to be understood by anyone. Smart and interesting reading.

Good way to start a new year!

Lot of relevant examples and use cases for nudging. Nice read.

This book is good but it‘s also giving me major anxiety about my 401k.

The combination of loss aversion with mindless choosing implies that if an option is designated as the “default,” it will attract a large market share. Default options thus act as powerful nudges.
