Mehso-so

A charming and delightful read. It is very heavy on the “cozy” and light on the “mystery”, but if a village setting and quirky characters sounds like something you‘d enjoy, I‘d give it a try. At times I felt a bit bogged down by the amount of details the author threw in with her descriptions, which is why it‘s a so-so and not a pick for me.

Pickpick

Fiction/Non Fiction pairings. Over the summer I finally read the entire Beatrix Potter Collection. That led me to read The Tale of Hill Top Farm, book one of the cozy mystery series loosely based on Potter's life. Now I'm onto a biography by Judy Taylor. Next up is the movie Miss Potter with Renee Zellweger. Don't you just love where books take you?
