Loved this book as a kid! Great modern fantasy (twist in the traditional literature) book was on the 2006 sunshine state young reader‘s list and would be a good independent read for students. The story is about a princess who is told she has marry a terrible prince, so she runs away. She meets another prince...but he‘s a frog and she kisses him to turn him back. Except she turned into a frog as well and then they go on a quest to find the witch.

I've read this series a few times, and was heart broken by the movie adaptation. So much of what I loved about the world in this book was just tossed aside for the movie.
