pickThis was laugh out loud hilarious fun fantasy read with demons and omens and evil under lords.
I loved to hate and laugh at Laszlo an 800yr old demon more interested in martinis than mayhem.
And I definitely fell in love with Maggie, a fiercely determined kickass woman that has no time for the chaos that is Laszlo.
I loved it! It was a little too long but still a fun ride.

I loved The Wicked Bargain so much that it will be one of my favorite books of the year. I even read the sequel set in the same universe that happens after the first book but focuses on Dami.

pickWow! I haven‘t read a book like this…ever! It takes place in a world that, at first, seems normal, but as time passes becomes more and more strange. I LOVED the twist that dawned on me only immediately before it was revealed, and found the adventure extremely entertaining! I‘ll be thinking about Kess and her Museum of Unnatural History for a long, long time.
pickI listened to the audio of this book but had to show off my pretty special edition! 😍 I LOVED the story!! Give me pirates and demons and untapped magical potential, yes please! The found family aspect was especially lovely, as Mar struggles to trust in their relationships with others

pickThis intergenerational story about family secrets, sisterhood, the masks people wear/the roles they play, reputation, & family honor never quite came together for me. In Korea, 105 year-old Hak Jeonga receives news that has her, & much to her dismay her sisters, rushing to America to deal with some family problems. At stake is the revelation of long held secrets that could shake the family. A low pick for me—I just wanted more from the story.
