I absolutely loved this! I‘m a complete sucker for a Beauty and The Beast retelling and this one even had some spice.

TW sexual violence I really enjoyed most of this book but the sexual violence in the middle was both not needed nor handled properly.
I was surprised this book was Australian when I first started! I don‘t find many paranormal books set here! I really enjoyed this one though it was slow going at first…..but was enjoyable.
It‘s stupid cold. I‘ve made myself finish off a cowl and I‘ll start something else. The Witchstone is fun though. Kinda jaunty with the air of a heist yet to happen.
Another great Rebecca Ross book! I love her magic systems- they are always unique. In this one wardens record nightmares and have to fight them every month until a curse is broken. Lots of magical secrets and disguises with a satisfying ending. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Finished in September - an enjoyable enemies-to-lovers romance. It is set in Scotland so I was excited to read it before our trip there this fall. I loved the combo of the rule-following archaeologist and the more chaotic curse-breaker. The bit of magical realism was fun and made the stakes seem higher. I would read another book with these two on their further adventures solving the unexplained.
Tonight I‘ll start this one. It‘s been on my,Anna read list for many years.
Ozzie thinks I need to give him an apology for making him move off my lap to go eat dinner. Now he‘s happily back on my legs as we settle down to read tonight.
4 ⭐ Cursed luck is in Indy book of Kelly Armstrong‘s. In it we have Kennedy who owns an antique shop. She specializes in removing curses from antique objects that she can then resell. One day Aiden comes in to make her approve that she can actually do as advertised. The two end up on a wild urban fantasy adventure that sends her back home to her sisters and the rest of her family.
