Monstress is the perfect bedtime story. Dark, mythical, cats that always have a wise comeback, and gorgeous artwork. Oh, and there's a talking monkey now. 🙈🙉🙊

3. Enjoy story.

1.4 starts off in a new place. I had to triple check that I was reading these in the right order. It would be too confusing not to. Maika has something in her: a god, a deity, an evil spirit. Something. It feeds on the blood of others, and Maika has little control over it. It leaves me needing more
