I was surprised how much I loved this. It was suspenseful and I didn‘t exactly see that turning point coming. Of course, I sensed, it must be something similar but not exactly that.
The story was well read by the voice actor and I am really tempted to go and see if all other crime novels Frank Schätzing wrote also have Vera Gemini as protagonist. I liked her.

Plus: Topic of the story is still up to date even if the book is of 1997.

Until minutes ago, I didn‘t know that this seems to be volume 13 of kind of a criminal case series, Frank Schätzing is writing. If I knew, I wouldn‘t have chosen it, but I‘m glad, I didn‘t know. I‘m already done with 5 of 15 hours, and I like it. I like the protagonists and that the case doesn‘t seem full of twists and turns – it‘s more “classic”. And I like that the workload of the criminal investigation department is presented realistically.
