Look Buffy book and Buffy show! The book: too much fancy schmancy sci fi creatures and not enough real people and emotions. Angel as Twilight I don't buy at all; they didn't establish any real motivations and I think Angel/Buffy is pretty dead at this point. Giles's death was TERRIBLE. After barely including him the whole volume, they kill him off in a totally unheroic way even though Giles deserved WAY better? But great Spuffy in the last issue.

Susannah I never got beyond Season 8, Volume 1. They killed Giles? Unheroically? WTF? š³š¢š� 7y

tonyahoswalt Season 8 was not great, but it got better after that. Though, still not sure about the Giles storyline...won't say more since I don't know how far along you are. 7y
