#lilithjuly @Cinfhen @KarenUK This is a fun romance wherein the two leads are #notreadytomakenice - in fact it‘s an all out war to make partner at their law firm. But - in a theme as old as Pride & Prejudice - enemies turn to lovers which is always fun to see.

Cinfhen I agree, the enemies to lovers theme never gets old!! Especially in a good Rom/Com movie🍿📽 5y

One of James's earlier works and it shows. There's a battle of the sexes plot that brings HQNs to mind but the hero actually spouts bs about how men are unfairly treated because of equal rights activism. And he calls the heroine a feminazi. It's hard to see him as redeemable no matter how much he grovels or sacrifices later. #romantsy

I really enjoyed this one, a slow burn hate to love work place romance. It didn't dig too deep emotionally but it was entertaining, feisty and well written.
