pickNot the right book - but Meat Cute isn‘t in the list yet. This is absolutely not the place to start with this series, but if you‘re a Connell and Alexia fan, this is the prequel that you wanted and it delivers. And if you‘ve read The Finishing School series there‘s a treat for you here too.
pickIt‘s been a while since I stayed up past my bedtime with a book, but I finished the last two books of this #Libby compendium over the last two mornings, at 12:50 and 1:30 AM. I find these books silly and delightful and sometimes unforgivably frivolous, but apparently that‘s exactly what I needed to combat anxiety this week. I‘m already making plans to dive into Carriger‘s YA series next.

It has mysteriously disappearing vampires, a steamy romance with a werewolf Lord, a snarky soulless main character, a gay vampire Lord and a very handy parasol. It's so funny and I love the steampunk references.
Alexia has a sharp mind and is totally set on following the clues, spice up her spinster life and prove her innocence along the way.
If I had the money and the wherewithal I'd totally make steampunk fashion a part of my life - so I choose Alexia as my #characteriddressupas for #booktober
Turns out the full Parasol Protectorate series is only $16.99 for Kindle. Decided to buy the whole thing since I have been enjoying Soulless so much.
pickIf you like steampunk, supernatural creatures, and snarky comedic comments,then you should read this series. I love all those elements so I love the whole series.
