Thanks go to Panda Redd for making me aware of this one's existence. Sure it's dark, sad and gorey, but it's also a rollicking bop though classic literature, (the Little Women kick Deadpool's ass: I appreciate this) and the recognition that a) The comic book characters we know best have some powerful antecedents b) stories matter 1/2

I went to Ollie‘s tonight (a local discount store that has amazing prices on new books!) and discovered I have a dilemma: I enjoy buying books for my little dude Jace just as much as I enjoy buying them for myself! 😆 He actually made out better than me for this #bookhaul - oh well! 🤷🏻‍♀️ #sorrynotsorry

Having killed off the Marvel Universe, Deadpool realizes he cannot stop its continual regeneration unless he kills off their inspiration, classic literature. Absurd, campy, funny, and violent, this is a fun, twisted series.

This is the second of a Deadpool trilogy in which he basically goes totally off the deep end and kills everyone? The first one he kills all the superheroes/villains, and this one he kills characters from "classic" literature that influenced the creation of marvel characters. The cover shows Deadpool killing Moby Dick. ? thought you all would appreciate this literary-themed Deadpool comic

If you like Deadpool, you'll probably like this. I think it's cool to see Deadpool drift into a more serious but still humorous arc every once in a while.

I actually find this hilarious, given that we also know Deadpool has been a hardcore Harry Potter fan since the books were published. But also yeah, quite often libraries are intimidating and exclusionary.

Finished the first two issues so far, and I'm enjoying it.

I got a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday, except... I don't shop there much, ever since they got rid of their in-store LGBT fiction (which prompted me to start supporting LGBT online booksellers instead). So if you put me in B&N, I'm really just going to end up in the Deadpool part of the comics section.

The series that started my strange love of deadpool. As a book lover and someone who was curious about comics, this was a great gateway comic. Deadpool knows he is a literary creation, and rationalizes that the only way he can die is by killing those literary heroes who came before him. The classics

Weird concept that still strangely appealed to me. However, the existential ending was a bit unsatisfying. If you love love love Deadpool, you'll probably enjoy this better than I did.
