They all get tired of waiting and just leave. At the end, only one friend is left waiting patiently. This penguin gets to have the special treat all to himself! This book is a great way to teach patience to kids and show them that sometimes it is worth the wait!

A UDL guideline that can be used is 9.1 which is promote expectations and beliefs that optimize motivation. DrSpalding A dramatic reenactment or read aloud are both viable strategy is. I have also had students story tell his books. This might be an option for you to complete your assignment. Use your fabulous resource 6y

The teacher passed out the little paper booklet and you took it home, and if you were lucky like I was your mom let you order whatever you wanted! bookishkai Scholastic book days were the BEST. @KellyKate my mom was like yours, she never limited my book buying/consumption. Toys I had to save up for, but I could always have/get books. I think it was because when she was a kid my mom was the only reader in her house and she never had any of her own, but I reaped the benefits with all the books I wanted because via Scholastic they were really inexpensive. 8y
