Deconverted was a humorous, relatable, and inspiring read. Seth Andrews tells his unique story - from growing up in a religious fundamentalist family in the US bible belt and working as a deeply religious, popular Christian radio host to becoming the host of the most downloaded atheist podcast, The Thinking Atheist.
I attended his Minneapolis event with the Minnesota Atheists in September. He‘s an excellent speaker and was very personable.
(Seth Andrews‘ Ghost Stories isn‘t in Litsy yet.)
This was a fun listen! The production is excellent. Seth has an amazing voice and his narration is fantastic. In addition to Seth, there are nine other voice actors. The stories featured realistic sound effects and chilling background music.
I met Seth Andrews at the September Minnesota Atheist event, he was the featured speaker. His podcast is currently the highest downloaded atheist podcast.
Wow, I devoured this book in one day! A quick read. As a fledgling atheist, I really enjoyed Seth's story. So much of it resonated with me. Recommended for anyone who grew up fundamentalist Christian and has doubts or is apostate. You are not alone!
"there isn't a single moral action performed by a religious person that cannot be done with equal effectiveness by a non-believer."
Starting this now. Met the author in September and got a signed copy. Always makes the reading a little more special. :)
