For 2024, I made myself a bracket with spaces for one bonus book each quarter. This serves not only to even up the matches by starting with 16 contenders instead of 12, but it also provides for months with more than one 4-5 star book. I decided to post it just in case anyone else feels the same way - help yourself! #readingbracket2024

CSeydel @Amiable haha, you are correct, I should have kept in the tournament theme! Wild card slots is exactly what they are. Any month that it feels too difficult to pick a clear winner, you can use the bonus book/wild card slot to include an extra title. 14mo

CSeydel @Catsandbooks I like how you arranged the months on your bracket - so Jan doesn‘t compete with Feb, etc. I thought about doing that, but by the time I had all the boxes where I wanted them, I forgot to change the month labels 🙃 14mo
