Unveil the Veil | Hanna N Rabi

The concept of this book is pretty interesting (set in a world where there's a hijab ban that's enforced extremely strictly) but it was very typical dystopian~ The male lead was confusing because he was raised in a very toxic family yet decided to help the main character. Its great he isn't islamophobic but within the context of the novel, his actions didn't make sense? IMO, It's more like a first draft with many improvements that could be made.

Still sad that I missed Juno Dawson's event in Brighton two days ago but luckily she signed some extra copies of her book. While I prowling the YA section I also found Holding up the Universe which weirdly happened to be the only one that was signed!

HP7 was such a satisfying conclusion to the story that sometimes I don't think an eighth book was necessary. So, the way I see it, CC, to me, is just a nice add-on for Potter fans who have been wanting to return to the world again. But it felt more like a rehash of events that have already happened instead of an original story with Albus & Scorpius.". They should have revisited the world without having the need to go back (literally) to the past.

(still trying to understand this app but im making progress) Sleeping Giants was a great read. I loved the idea of humans scrambling to understand tech so advanced beyond our years. So good, and I'm so excited for its sequel.
