Pickpick

I enjoyed this book. Brilliantly written, all around, but the part I like best is how suddenly the book plunges into deep, dark aspects of the human psyche and then how it effortlessly returns to a seemingly innocuous book about adolosence and adventure. I first bought it because of my love for the His dark materials trilogy and this book, while giving you a nice whiff of nostalgia, also sets up a unique feel for itself.
Waiting for the next one.
