When a book has the phrase “cold as a frog‘s balls” in the first sentence, I think that it‘s a good omen. 😂

When your hold on Overdrive finally comes through 😍😍
I still can‘t decide how I feel about the ending. But I did really enjoy this book and liked her writing. The fact that I can‘t really decide who the book was about is both the best and worst thing about the book I think?
Scully loves book mail!
I love Charlize Theron, but this movie is so irritating with all the changes/inconsistencies.
First Gillian Flynn (currently have a hold in for the Sharp Objects audiobook) and I‘m enjoying it so far!
It was a slow start but once it picked up it was like a really engaging, extended Law and Order episode. And one of the narrators sounded like a Baldwin brother 😂
I have 1 Audible credit and 2 BoTM credits! Anyone have any recommendations for me before my broke butt deletes my subscriptions in favor of the library???
I honestly find the writing to be lazy, but I‘m not bailing yet.
Psychological thriller pick up at the airport- hope it‘s good it was expensive!
Literary company on my way to beer yoga this morning 🧘🏼♀️📖
Took a trip to the library for some of the books on my #freakyfriday list by @Gayan ! Put in some holds on Overdrive for audiobooks for some of the other selections too (if that‘s not cheating) 😉 I‘ve heard of a few of the classics but haven‘t read anything on my list so I‘m excited!
Is this just some book printing mistake or is this supposed to be there as a symbol of one of Hutchinson‘s blood droplets? #readingintoit
I put this down for a while, excited to finish!
Thinking about making this area my little reading nook! (Once I clean it and rearrange) yes no maybe?
I went into this book with little to no expectation; I don‘t particularly think Whitney Cummings is funny but like her as a person (as much as you can without knowing someone personally). This book is intended to be a self-help book, and I have to say it gave me a lot of much needed perspective. I highly recommend the audiobook rather than a physical copy, as her reading her own words back and hearing her reactions gives them more weight.
Progress on my bullet journal! Keeping track of the important things
I don‘t normally read the Litsy reviews until after I finish a book, because now I‘m nervous after seeing all the mixed reviews for this book 😬 I‘m still going to give it a go though! #litsycats #scullycat #padfootthegirl
I love a good puzzle, and, although I figured it out about halfway, I still loved the places she led her sister and the message it came with.
Unpacked from my move back to Boston, so now I‘m ready to resume reading! #scullycat
I bought this book with a very ominous inscription from the author; I‘ll try not to go into an existential crisis!
I didn't know I was reading a book about myself!
After not reading for a while, I'm excited to dive back in (literally)
Anyone else read new books like this? #dontbendthebinding
As much as I expected the ending, I loved how triumphant and topical it was. The all of a sudden way that these women realized their own strength and power was very satisfying.
Excited to read this one! Hope it's as good as everyone says!!
I love the way old books smell-- this book was published in 1938 and has the great dialogue to match. Sarcasm just isn't as smart anymore as it used to be.
Preparing for the My Favorite Murder show tonight by reading crime stories! #murderino
Finally going to sit down and finish this book after not reading for a while!
Went to the Book Barn in West Chester, PA today- a barn filled with 5 floors of used books!
My first time going to New Hope, PA and I spent 45 minutes in the book store. I'm excited to read these though!
Time for a quick, light read to make my way through my to be read list!
I have to stop reading books that start with the same letter!
The Husband's Secret kept me entertained. I thought the epilogue was a weird thing that should have been left for the reader to wonder, and I was a little dissatisfied with the ending in general. Overall though it was good!
Am I the only one who thought this book was super bizarre?
