I've never really hated a book until now. I've disliked some but didn't hate because they at least had one thing I've liked. This one though I didn't care about any of the characters or the story. When I read the description it gave me Hush vibes so I was really excited because I love that movie. Nothing but disappointment.
I'm really upset with this book. Only 4 chapters in and I'm 99.99% sure I know the big reveal. I'm going to continue on though and hope it gets better. It could possibly turn into my first DNF ever. 🤦
Having trouble getting into pretty girls so I figured I'd put it aside and try again later. I think this one seems more like something I would be happy with right now.
This book was impossible to put down. I felt like I was right there with these kids feeling their pain. The authors writing is spectacular. It felt so real. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone.
Very hard to put this one down. Wish I didn't have to be at work at 7:00am.😭
Just wanted shared an idea that I "borrowed" from someone in my Facebook book club. Inside this chest on these little pieces of paper are some of my books that are tbr but I can never decide which one to read next. Now when I need a book to read I shake it up and pull randomly. The first book I drew (tagged) I have had since I was in highschool so for almost 20 years I never got to that one and now I'm mad at myself because it was really good.
Starting this one tonight even though I should be heading to bed for work tomorrow 😴😴😴
I'm loving and hating this at the same time. I'm half way through the book and I feel like there's not enough book left to tell the story. But I have faith in the Casts. I'm sure they won't let me down!?!?
The real stars of the book (the kids) kept me reading . The adults we're too annoying (including my favorite pair Sherlock and Savich), and the storylines were very predictable.
