Pickpick

5 Highschool students end up in detention. The brain, The beauty, The criminal, The athlete, The outcast. All 5 hold reputations that they must protect. As they spend time in detention, little did they know that only 4 of them will be walking out making them suspects for murder. When the news of the incident escalates they all become known as “The Murder Club“. While the four try to clear their name, their deepest secrets from the past come back

stacie.oliveros to haunt them. With the secrets being out they must face challenges that will change their lives and might put a damage on their reputation. No one can be trusted. If you are a fan of the book “We Were Liars“ by E. Lockhart then I 100% recommend this book since both have a storyline with a big plot.
A theme that is present in this novel is consequences of actions. In the past each character has made foolish decisions that makes them involve

stacie.oliveros their selves in actions that will later make a big impact on their lives, directing them to difficulties. This shows us that we should try to be cautious of decisions that we make because later in life they might return and be something bigger and worse. Since this book is mostly towards young adult audiences, I think the author's purpose is to present us this story as an example of situations like these to hopefully get a lesson out of it. 2mo

Pickpick

Five Highschool students with secrets end up in detention, but somehow only four of them come out alive. All four of them end up becoming suspects for murder. How far would they go to keep these secrets buried? Is it possible that murder is a way. Little did they know that the undergoing investigation will lead to big life changing events which could possibly make a huge impact in their life. Who is responsible for all this chaos?

stacie.oliveros \“One of us is lying\“ is a book written by Karen M. McManus. She writes the book in a first person omniscient point of view, which shifts from character to character to help give a better insight of each ones experiences and emotions throughout the story. If you loved reading \“A Good Girl\'s Guide to Murder\“ I highly recommend this book. 2mo
