Slaughterhouse-Five was one of those books I heard countless things about but was never sure what the book was actually about. However, I see why that was the case.
I can't pin down why I love this novel so much, but so it goes. I really recommend it to anyone interested in reading something different and clever and funny.

When a Tralfamadorian sees a corpse, all he thinks is that a dead person is in bad condition in that particular moment, but that the same person us just fine in plenty of other moments.
About to start a classic! I've been looking forward to this one all week.
Not only is Born a Crime a charming and funny story about Trevor Noah's life in South Africa, but it provides such great insight into life post apartheid in South Africa.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah or just interested in contemporary South African culture. It's a delightful read and while it's funny, its self reflection is some of the best out there.
