4. I know I've needed to meet Kaz Brekker for a long while now and I have finally done it! This book wasn't nearly as intense as I thought it was going to be and I wasn't as invested at the beginning. But the characters won me over. The Dregs are true stars in this book and by the end I needed the sequel! Also, the slow burn romance... ah it kills me!

3.75 Honestly, I had so many feels reading this. And I found the beginning part particularly good. But I also felt that, for a wrap up to a trilogy, it was rushed. We're introduced to too many characters without fleshing them out, and I think we could've had a book with politics and then another with the war. It just didn't floor me like ACOMAF. But it's still definitely my favourite world!
