Amulet, Book 1: A good start for this graphic novel series. I found art to be ok but the story is decent. The characters are memorable. This should be a good series to read even for the adults.

Chapter 1 introduced the plot element.
This being a popular book of the genre should be a worthy reading.

I have developed a love and hate relationship with this series. The first book was too episodic with many time skips. This one was not but the middle of the book was sluggish for me.

I started this book during my travel around three weeks ago but could not finish it until today.
There was no memorable character. The surprising ending constructed the perfect prelude to "Second Foundation".

It's 15 hrs till I reach home. Let's see how much can I progress.

I am traveling to my hometown for the festival. My train is having a halt and I just completed this book in middle of the night.
Here are some of my thoughts on this.
Liked it. The narrative has many timeskips. Each generation of "The Foundation" faces diffe
rent crisis and each generation handles it differently. From pseudo religion to trade control. Definitely reading the next one.

Currently I am binge reading the Scif's. This one has been in my to-read list since long. Will be on 10 days vacation from Saturday. Let's see how much I can read during that time. #scifi #currentlyReading #kobo
