This was an amazing book in the series. You see character growth for Stark, who has to learn to put honor above all else in order for him to become the Guardian Zoey needs. Zoey learns that even without Heath, she has others in the world who love her, rely on her and need her and makes the choice to return. Aphrodite learns to appreciate the gift Nyx gave to her and rely on Nyx to help her when she needs it most. Stevie Rae hides Raphaim still.

I think Raphaim saying this to Stevie Rae is so perfect. He knows he has to decide to care or not care about her.
